freeband started with one question i couldn't shake: how do i stay connected without missing what's right in front of me?
01
i'm the girl with a coffee in one hand, somewhere to be, and a camera roll that never ends. my phone keeps me close to my family, my friends, my work and my creativity, and i'd never want to give that up.
but right in the middle of the moments i wanted to be in, i kept running into the same small problem. a coffee walk with my friends, something worth a photo, and my phone buried at the bottom of my bag. or already in my hand, leaving no room for anything else.
my phone only ever had two places to live: in my hand, where it was in the way, or in my pocket or bag, where it was out of reach.
your digital world should complement your physical one, not compete with it.
02
i started building a way to wear my phone on my wrist: in reach when i need it, out of the way when i don't.
five prototypes in, that's freeband: a wrist piece you wear like a watch, and a locket that sticks to the phone case you already have. two small pieces that give your phone a place, and your hands a little freedom.
because you have better things to hold onto. the coffee. the leash. the moment.

i started with the small moments in my own day. building freeband in public on tiktok has let me hear about yours.
your comments have shaped how it fits, and right now you're voting on the colors we launch with. one prototype at a time, you're helping me build something that fits into your life, too.
the goal is still the same: to stay connected to what matters, with room to enjoy what's right in front of us. thank you for helping me bring it to life.
